The 4 of us woke up early today, went for breakfast together, and then headed to paris ris interchange. From there, we took a bus to the ferry terminal, and then to Tekong!
My mum and I really did our best to suppress our tears, but... I guess it wasnt very successful. But at least tears didnt fall when my brother was around la, so not that bad. Basically we just toured around the school, attended the oath-taking ceremony, and then had lunch.
And, I finally realised how important my brother is to my mum. When he's at home, she keeps scolding and nagging at him. When he's not around, she miss him like crazy, and is so worried about him. Just because the officer told us that the recruits will get to call home at 9.30pm, she doesnt want to go out for dinner. Haha, and she'll go into his room to look at his things and tidy his bed. Oh man.. motherly love is indeed amazing..
Since I'm at this topic, I shall warn all of u, if there's nothing urgent, do not call my home between 9.30pm to 10.30pm. From now onwards, this hour is specially reserved for my brother. If my mum is impatiently expecting to hear from my brother and she hears your voice instead, I dunno wat she'll do.
The latest news from my brother: His botak look is ugly. I cant wait to see him again.. not because I wanna see how ugly he is, I really miss him ok..
So Tekong is actually a beautiful and peaceful island..
