When I saw this set of photos, I couldnt stop laughing! Pw racked her brains to torture them to revenge for yanting. Mel and ks.. really very ugly! The newspaper game - in the end my group lost, so we have to use our mouth to pass seaweeds.

It was love at first sight with this bear! I think its every girl's dream to have a very big bear on her bed. And so we were thinking of having this bear as our 21st birthday present so at the end of 2008, all of us would each have one of this bear on our bed.


Since we'll only buy it next year, we have to chuck it back the shelf. It was still looking at us!
I think all of us have seen our results.. No matter wat, my bear wants to tell you to BE HAPPY!

I finally have time to sit down, gather my thoughts, and start blogging!

Christmas was great!

Christmas eve was potluck at Cassan's house.. we ate, played, and chatted all the way till 7plus in the morning. Had lots of fun cos most people turned up, even Mingzhang and Alyaa who's finally back from Australia!

Gift exchange is the scariest thing ever. HAha! We're all so afraid to get sarah's gift.
In the end I got this cute and silly-looking bear from weihong. I love it!

On Christmas Day itself, we were at my grandma's place eating log cake and turkey!
The chocolate log cake was delicious!
But the durian.. was so disappointing.
Turkey!
And the poorly-sliced ham. 6 different person fought to slice the ham, but as you can see, it was such a failure.
There was so much food that we felt full just by looking at those food..

HAha, my uncle's gf made my grandma so happy!

Until we see 2 lollipops! HAhaha. My uncle is so irritating rite.

Outing with Jy

Going out with jy is always fun.. and from the bottom of my heart I'm touched by her. Touched by her ability to remember every single word I've said - some were just casual remarks, some I dun even remember.. and she remembers all the little little details. Thanks for being such a thoughtful friend all these while!

The little bears were really really nice!

We ended up choosing christmas gifts for friends instead of buying clothes for ourselves. For the first time, I chose presents for my Dad, Mum and bro too! Yeah, wait patiently for Christmas!!
Last but not least, I bought a pillow for our car. With this, my head wont be falling all over when I doze off in the car.

Wedding dinner at Raffles Hotel

We were at my mum's cousin's wedding last night. She's married to a British, so the dinner was abit different. In western weddings, there must be speeches. Loooong speeches. First by the bride's Dad (in english AND chinese), followed by the groom, then the groom's best men (there were 3 of them). I really dun mind long speeches if they could allow us to eat while they speak. Unfortunately, no food was served during the speech. From my mum's observations, a few Aunties and Uncles were almost dozing off cos they dun understand english.

I thought the next part was quite sweet - the groom played the violin for the bride. Again, no food was served in that 15minutes. Haha, and my dad started complaining la. It was such a long dinner..

Ups and Downs

This is the 'UP' when I won last week..

But.. luck is not always on your side..
Today I lost $14. My dad won $45 from the 3 of us.
This was taken at Sarah's house - played badminton in the morning, then went to her house.
The noisiest monopoly session I've ever seen - because of Jy and Becca.
If you read yesterday's paper, you may have read about a robbery case in Sengkang which happened just a few blocks away from my place. Mine is Blk 324C and the robbery took place at 321C. That night I happened to be out with rah, and drove back home around 3plus in the morning. And the incident took place at 4plus in the morning. Before we read about the news, my mum was telling me, she had a dream that something bad happened to me that night, so she got very worried and asked me to stop going out or coming back home so late. I was still telling her nothing will happen one la.. and it really happened.

I was thinking, IF that robber acted slightly earlier, IF he was at MY blk instead of 321C, I might become his victim. After taking that lady's LV bag and valuables, that robber tried to drag her somewhere, but fortunately a guy walk past and stopped this from happening. Isnt it scary?

And so from now onwards, no more late nights and supper for me, unless someone can promise to escort me home.

Time and again, it has proven that my mum's warnings are always right. I'm grateful that I'm safe and sound. I must not let her worry for me anymore.

不听老人言, 吃亏在眼前.

So for the past week, I was busy mahjong-ing la, wat else can I be busy with? And I've been quite lucky for the past few sessions. On friday when I played with my family, I won all the 大饼! Haha, my mum transferred money to me already.. Wahahaha!

Holiday is really unhealthy, my usual sleeping time is now 4 or 5am if I watch videos, or 6 or 7am if I have mahjong sessions. But we do try to be healthy also, like playing monopoly or badminton. Dun think monopoly is a boring game, cos when you play around 1 or 2am when half the group is sleepy and blur, there'll be many things to laugh at!

And yesterday's badminton session was fun too, though tiring. We always have a good feast after our badminton session. I think the last time we had Waraku, and yesterday Swenson's.

I've been stuck at home for 3whole days! And I do nothing but watch 通天幹探.

Most of them will be done with exams by end of this week so I dun have to rot at home anymore..

Anyway, I've started on another show 歲月風雲. I've consecutively watched 6 episodes since 11plus. The bad news is- there are 60 episodes! HAha, this is gonna be a long battle.. But I'm more than happy to fight.

Finally. Finally. Finally.

It feels good to be free from stress, but I think I screwed my exams again.

Its not that I haven been studying, its not that I dun do tutorials.. In fact, I make it a point to do wat I ought to do every week. The issue is- doing doesnt mean understanding, reading doesnt mean absorbing, revising doesnt mean remembering the right things.

Sometimes I hate myself for not being passionate with wat I'm studying, cos I'm sure if you have interest in something, you wont find it a torture to study and understand it. And I've been asking myself this- have I made the wrong choice to study business, and/or get into finance?

By nature, I've never liked competing. I've never wanted to compete with anyone for anything, yet it seems like I'm heading towards the very competitive banking industry. Somehow, I'm on this track and there's no turning back..

Its really time to start thinking of my own future.

Some things to share...
For the past few days, everyone in my home is obsessed with something. So if you mention those magic words, that person will go crazy- especially me la!

My mum's magic word: 连连看

Dun belittle this matching game. Its so fascinating that my Mummy no longer watch tv, do housework, or even talk to us at night. She takes over my laptop or our desktop till as late as 1am almost every night!


Eden: 星光帮
超级星光大道 - a Taiwan singing competition show, something like our Superstar. But of cos standard-wise, Superstar is no where near this show. While my mum occupies the laptop, my bro will be at the desktop watching the videos of this variety show. Many great singers in the show!

As for me: Moses!

I'm so crazily in love with him! He is 陈豪 and he's a TVB actor. If you've been catching up with Hongkong series, he's the most popular guy this year- winning Best Male Actor and Favorite Male Actor in the recent TVB awards ceremony.

He has a really charming smile.. He blushes very easily, especially when they talk about his rumoured gf. Thats the smile he gave when someone shouted his gf's name while he was giving his speech on stage!


Lastly, most of you are still having exams.. I noe its tough coping with exams, but you guys can do it! Think of the things you wanna do after exams and let it motivate you to work hard just for a few more days.. Jiayou jiayou :)
