Haven been so blue on a Sunday for quite sometime. And this very stupid question pops up in my mind again. There is 7days in a week, why do we have to work for 5days and only have 2days rest? Thats quite unfair rite. Some countries have already converted to 4working days, or at least 41/2 working days. Will Singapore ever switch to that?

Work is getting slightly more interesting, I'm being trained to be at the counter now, where I take orders from distributors face-to-face. Somehow, I'm more comfortable with direct interaction rather than through the phone.

Work seems to be taking up most of my time now. After work, while many people are making their way to Orchard, I'm dying to leave Orchard and reach home asap. And so my life is just work and sleep. I miss my friends! Girls, lets meet up for dinner soon, and then decide when we should go camping or cycling! :)

First Day at Work

HELP!!!

I dread going to work. I'm feeling exactly like a primary 1 kid, dreading to go to school. Today feels exactly like the first day of school when I was in primary 1. I dunno who my classmates are, I dunno wat lessons I'm gonna have, I dunno wat time is recess time, I dunno if my teacher is fierce or nice, I know nothing about english, chinese or math.

I think I've got quite alot of things to learn at work. So many things to learn, and not only remember, but do it fast and accurate. It doesnt feel good to be at this transition stage, wanting to do things fast yet I'm unsure of many things and I'm so afraid to make mistakes.

Hi people!

Last monday we went cycling, today we played badminton. It seems like we're getting healthier huh? I didnt know sports could be that fun. But then again, I think I need some time to adjust. Last week my arm muscles hurt, today my thigh muscles hurts even more. Tomorrow when I wake up, I'm expecting other parts of my body to ache as well. Thats the consequence of not exercising regularly. :(

Ok, I promise I'll try my best to exercise regularly. I'm really sick of having aches here and there. Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to camping with you guys. I bet its gonna be fun!

Dream Come True

Wow!!! I'm so happy today, cos I went shopping and bought 2 tops and a watch! Its been quite sometime since I bought clothes!

As for the watch, recently I've taken a liking for MontBlanc watches. There's this show whereby the guy is so sweet that he promise to give his girlfriend his MontBlanc watch if she could pass her lawyer qualification test. I think the watch looks good both on guys and girls, and I like it because it is simple, it has a round and white face, with a black leather strap. With the word MONTBLANC on the face of the watch, it looks so classy and nice! As yet, I cant afford a real MontBlanc watch, so I could only get a similar one. Strictly speaking, its not similar la. Its far from the real thing. It is just a very simple one which also has a white face and black, fake leather strap. But at this stage of my life, I'm already satisfied with this fake yet similar looking one. When I start working, I'll wanna save up to get myself a real MontBlanc watch!

Isnt Mini Cooper cool? Yup, its my dream car! Its very suitable for girls, so small, cool and nice! If I could afford, I'll want to own it in the future!

Life will only be meaningful if we have hopes and dreams, and when we have something to work towards to or have aims to achieve. It pushes us to work hard and I believe its gonna be a great feeling to achieve something we've been wanting so much to achieve.

While many of my friends dun like the idea of growing up, I'm actually looking forward to being an adult and instead of getting pocket money from my parents, I think it will be just as nice if I could be the one giving them pocket money!

I intended to put up 2 pictures of us playing mahjong today, but after uploading I realised that my Dad and my brother didnt wear shirt, so better not. I dunno wat my brother will do to me if he sees himself topless in my blog!

We went for DimSum today morning to celebrate Mother's Day for my grandma and then we went to her house for mahjong again. I didnt win any money again, but had lots of fun and laughed too much that I'm really tired now.

I'm enjoying the simple and stress-free life I'm leading now, and I really love spending time with my family every sunday. I'm wondering whether things will remain the same, when my brother and I get older, will we still take time out every Sunday to visit my Grandma, or will we be so busy with our own work and life that we'll only visit her on special occasions? Will we still play mahjong together and laugh off the sunday afternoon?

Holiday Time!

My exams are over!

I had a very good 12-hour sleep last night. We had to go to my grandma house for lunch, if not I could have slept even more. And I had a great day at my grandma's. I've been yearning for home-cooked food, and finally got to eat them today. Then it was a round of mahjong with my grandma, uncle and my Dad. It was fun cos I won! Too bad it was a friendly match and so I didnt get to earn that $10. Spending time with family is the best thing to do!

Adeline introduced me a job, and I'm going for interview tomorrow. Although I'll want to find a job soon, I actually hope to have a few more days, or even another week to relax and just do nothing. Shall see how it goes!
