Sometimes i cant help but wonder: Am i living for myself or am i living for others?

Family Day

I had a very filling and sumptuous breakfast today - dim sum!

The hawker centre that we always walk past while heading to ECP serves very delicious dim sum! Having dim sum for breakfast is the best thing that can happen, even Mac Donald breakfast or fried doughstick with soya bean milk cant beat it.

Then for dinner we had buffet at my great-grandmother's house cos its her birthday. She's 92 years old!!

I have a Nikon 4-megapixel camera with me right now, cos my uncle doesnt need it so he's lending it to me.

Its thursday night! Had a busy, enriching and fun-filled week in hall.. I'm almost back in the study mood already, though its not 100% yet. but studying in a new environment definitely helps.. this 2 nights i've been studying in yan and audrey's room. and for both the 2 nights i'm able to meet my target by finishing wat i ought to do or read. whenever i'm in my room i always fail to finish my work..

By the way, I watched 'Little Man' on tuesday! Its was super funny. laughed throughout the whole show, and the best part is the touching scenes can make u cry as well. so its laughing loudly this minute then shedding tears the next. and before your tears dry u'll start laughing again. I love the little man, he's so cute!

Recess week is coming, i'm so looking forward to it! but i've got sooo many projects to do.. sianz. and they are not just discussion and then prepare for presentation, but u have to go interview people from different organizations, and then analyse the problems in their organizations, help them solve the problems etc.. so much work! I wonder how much i can do in that little 7 days.. and i've got so much work to catch up as well..

On the bright side, for tmr's 4-hour break, my friends are going to play badminton and i'm going swimming! provided it doesnt rain lah. if i'm that 'lucky' again, then i gotta go pick balls for them. :( And after lecture i'm going home.. Home Sweet Home!!

Which is true?!

Yesterday my friend used poker cards to analyse my love life, and today my brother made me play another game, this time round its something like predicting the future.

The results:

My friend's analysis -

a) The guy loves himself more than he love me.
(this i feel is quite true)

b) Between the guy and me, there are 2 more guys. the 2 guys are our obstacle,
most likely they are my father and brother.
(this is also true)

c) I dun love him as much as i thought i do.
(as for this, I'm not sure myself!)

Overall, this game is quite accurate.

My brother's analysis -

a) I'll meet my Mr Right only when I'm 21! gosh, I'm only 19 now leh..
gotta wait 2 more years?!

b) He is not rich. (4/13)

c) He love me quite alot. (8/13)

d) My happiness level is low. (3/13)

e) He is very handsome. (13/13)

Looking at the result, i only have 3 wishes.

1) For part (e) to be true.
2) For part (d) to be untrue.
3) For all this to take place asap, not after 2 years!

Had a great friday!

During my 4-hour break just now, went to West Mall for lunch and shopping, i bought a top and also wrapping paper to decorate the board in my room. How much i miss shopping and how proud i was to get the top that was really nice at only $15! Only after putting up the wrapping paper that i realise i chose quite an ugly checkered design. Since i've already taken the trouble to put it up, shall make do with it first. just hope that fussy sarah doesnt complain..

After lecture was Marianna's birthday party at her place! The bbq food was really nice, especially the satays, cheese prawns, taiwan sausages and chocolate-banana fondue!! Then it was just hanging around, playing cards, games, and taking photos.. I think they took lots of photos, shall post it when its uploaded..

With poker cards, there is actually a way to analyse your current love life. We played this game just now, and it was very accurate for most of us.. amazing.. my friend is really good at interpreting the results. And this very same guy, BB, is good at many other stuffs as well. We had 2 birthday cakes today, and both were made by him! Oreo ice-cream cake and strawberry cheesecake made by a 22-year-old guy! and the cakes were delicious..

I'm gonna have a busy weekend with gatherings as well as tutorials to complete.. shall update again soon if something nice happens! :-)

Today:

Had diarrhoea the whole day :(

Did my 2nd presentation for my chinese elective.. it was ok, I wasnt really nervous cos its not those formal presentations like marketing and stats.

Thursday:

Econs first quiz - I'm not at all worried, i'm prepared to fail :(

First guitar lesson - gonna have my first guitar lesson tomorrow! looking forward to it, hope I'll enjoy the lesson, and most importantly, learn more new skills..

Friday:

Marketing presentation AGAIN! never-ending presentations..

After the presentation, I'll be a happy person again cos its Friday!

After school, all of us are going to my classmate's house to celebrate her birthday.. cant go home straight after school, but there's good food at her party!

My mum just told me that my brother got his results today, and he has finally graduated with a diploma!! So happy for him, and i envy him because he does not need to study anymore for the rest of his life. No more lectures, tutorials, quizzes, tests, exams, and stress!!
Unfortunately, I have 3 more years to go..

I dun like my life

Its really time to do something, but the thing is i'm not at all motivated to study. In hall, i'll read my lecture notes just because i need to do my tutorial. I'll read the case studies just because i need to be prepared for my classes. I feel i'm just doing all these for the sake of doing and nothing have really gone into my brain. Every weekend when i'm back home, i do nothing except watch tv, play mahjong, eat and sleep. I hope to get tutorials done on weekends so that i dun have to do tutorials till 2, 3am everyday, but i've been trying for so many weekends and nothing can be done.

Last time in jc, it was so nice to have the whole class working towards the common goal. and have friends studying together after school.. now all of us are in different courses, studying different things. and its quite sad when all your classmates mug on their own at home.. I really lack the motivation. who can help me?

Was supposed to have a very long story to tell, but before i could type my post, I blurted everything out to jingyi on msn, and now, there's nothing more to say. I'm enlightened by her, and those problems dun seem to bother me as much as before. she have the special and amazing ability to make my depressed feelings disappear. Thats wat best friends do rite? She's my pillar of support, without this bestie around, i just dunno who i can speak to when my life is suddenly bombarded with so much issues, uncertainties, etc.. I'm praying hard, hope things will turn out better..

I really gotta admit time flies. with the blink of an eye, its friday again! Had quite a busy week in school, there were lots of things to do, tutorials, case studies and presentations... the more busy we get, the faster time passes.

Today my dad and brother wasnt around during dinner time, so i met my mum at compass point to have dinner. Its amazing how we could have dinner and then shop around at compass point for 3 hours. if u ask me i'll tell u there is really nothing much at compass point, it must be that i haven seen and spoken much to my mum for many days, thats why we just kept walking while chatting. and we bought many things.. finally got my second bottle of perfume, so that i can finally use perfume when i go out on weekends. the bad thing about staying in hostel is that u need to have double of everything. how i wish i could duplicate all the clothes that i have in my wardrobe, so that i can have watever i wanna wear in both places.

Having KFC for dinner is really shiok! have been eating chicken rice or char siew rice everyday in hostel, cos if i dun eat rice i wont feel full.. so sick of oily rice.. I'm going off to watch tv.. scv, here i come!

And by the way, its teacher's day today! dunno if people will still remember it, since we wont be getting holidays on this day anymore.. Happy Teacher's Day to Mr tan, mrs chong, mr ng and ms choo. :-)
